Foundations Learning Academy is a vibrant, innovative and professionally operated childcare centre located in Green Hills.  We are committed to providing high quality education and care for all children  and are dedicated to ensuring that all children are provided with the best start to their education. We value and take pride in our Academy building strong collaborative relationships with all our families and our team.

Our hours are  Monday to Friday 7:00am to 6:00pm.

Outdoor Learning Environment

Our academy has an expansive natural outdoor learning environment for the children to play and explore. The outdoor play areas have been carefully and specifically designed to allow all children open opportunities to explore, play, learn, interact and develop with a key focus on natural and sustainable environments.

Foundations Learning Academy aims to provide the highest standard of care and education in a secure and trusting environment to allow children to feel a sense of belonging. We support children to form positive relationships with peers, educators, and the environment, whilst fostering their relationships with their family and community. We focus on building strong partnerships with our families to facilitate a secure link between the home and the service and meet the individual needs and beliefs of each family whilst support children’s growth and development.

Our curriculum promotes play based learning

At Foundations Learning Academy we are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework, in developing programs that support children to develop in a holistic manner, including socially, cognitively, emotionally, physically, and morally. Our play-based learning environments and curriculum allows for children to develop and evolve their interests and abilities through their chosen play. We view the children as capable and active learnings who can contribute to their own learning.

We advocate for children’s right to play, providing the time, space, and freedom to play, take risk and explore everyday life. Our Team provides encouragement and support for all children to participate in our program whilst ensuring safety is always maintained. We demonstrate respect for children by collaborating with them to provide meaningful play and learning opportunities which support their wellbeing and development.
